First FALAH Conference in Port-Vila, Vanuatu 20th to 22nd of June 2023

The first FALAH conference "FAMILY FARMING, FOOD AND HEALTH IN SMALL COUNTRIES AND INTERTROPICAL TERRITORIES
IN SMALL COUNTRIES AND INTERTROPICAL TERRITORIES" in Port-Vila, co-organized by the Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training (MoET)
the Vanuatu Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), the National University of Vanuatu (NUV)
Vanuatu (NUV), the Vanuatu Agricultural Research and Technical Centre (VARTC).

will take place in Port-Vila from June 20 to 22, 2023 at the Holiday Inn Resort.

This first conference will focus on 3 main areas:

Axis 1 - What type of family farming to ensure the sustainability and resilience of small island countries and territories in the face of global change?

Axis 2 - Lifestyle transitions: what are the impacts on food and health?

3 - Cooperation policies and the role of education in the development of public agricultural policies: what place for local knowledge?

An opening ceremony will be held on June 19, 2023 at 4:30 pm, and a closing ceremony on June 22, 2023

 at 5:30pm.
